Day One-Getting to NewOrleans and our first work day. from carly :) hi mom, dad, and BUBBYYYYYYYY!!! i love and miss you all. its real fun here. the van ride was great. today i put up dry wall in a house that is being repaired. it was super hot but i survived. cant wait to see ya! i love you everyone. :) from chelsea! :D hey mom and dad! i love you guys more than carly does. well today was a really cool. i painted a food bank building and it was supper hot! but luckily the lady we were working for took really good care of us! i can't wait to learn new things! love you bye! from laura :) i have a tendency to get extremely messy when doing mudding. it was hot, but fun. Yesterday's drive was long and loud. I was in the van with Jessica and Tracy. It's very tiring. from Nikki Jo... yesterday the trip down here was long sometimes kinda difficult, but it wasn't bad. the sleep was good but i did not like the storm while we were on the bridges. today we painted the food bank, it was super hot but we could go inside in the ac if we got to hot. we went inside to eat lunch, they kept giving us stuff like free food and beads! =) they were very nice and told us stories about Katrina. it was a very good time im looking foward to what is going to happen the rest of the week. from David Rainwater...
